Be More than a Bystander

In this session, “Be More Than a Bystander,” we educate people on the importance of bystander intervention and how to recognize and safely intervene in potentially harmful situations, such as bullying, harassment, or abuse. Bystanders who intervene can help prevent harm, promote safety, and create a culture of respect and accountability. We also focus on empowering youth to be proactive in promoting a positive and safe community by teaching them the skills and strategies to intervene in harmful situations, encouraging them to be role models, promoting healthy relationships, and speaking out against harmful behavior. By empowering youth to take an active role in creating a culture of respect and inclusion, we can work towards a future where everyone is safe and included.
