Opportunities for Indigenous Business – From Selling to the Federal Government to Financing Your Start Up
Three national organizations share information as to how they are supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs. FuturPreneur Canada supports Indigenous entrepreneurs aged 18-39, helping them launch or buy their own business with finance support, an expert mentor for up to two years, and access to resources. The Indigenous Women’s Entrepreneur (IWE) Program is an initiative of the National Aboriginal Capital Corporations Association (NACCA) that provides training, resources, and funding to Indigenous women wanting to start or expand a business. Indigenous Services Canada and the Procurement Assistance Program will share details as to how you can sell your products and services to the Federal Government.
