Desiree Brightnose, a proud ininīw woman from Chemawawin Cree Nation, is the Owner and Operator of Tilted Teepee Productions. She received the inaugural RBC Emerging Indigenous Filmmaker Award and graduated as valedictorian from Assiniboine Community College – Interactive Media Arts and JustTV. Passionate about Indigenous language revitalization and cultural knowledge, Desiree soon after launched her production company in 2020. Through Tilted Teepee Productions, she champions Indigenous stories, fostering deeper cultural connections and bridging cultural knowledge. Her captivating narratives skillfully blend digital media and storytelling, empowering Indigenous peoples to reconnect with their culture and heritage.
