Erica Daniels is Cree/Ojibway from Peguis First Nation. She is a proud mother, a multi-award-winning documentary filmmaker, and the owner of Kejic Productions. At 16, Erica started her journey at Just TV, a multimedia program for inner city youth at risk that provided extensive skills in the media industry and helped better her life. Since then, she has received the Indigenous Film Award at the 2019 Manito Ahbee Festival, two Golden Sheaf Awards, nomination for a Canadian Screen Award, and the 2021 Young Aboriginal Entrepreneur Award from the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. With a passion for re-connecting Indigenous youth to culture and identity, Erica runs a youth mentorship program.
