Biography
Gerry McIvor is a well-known musician in Manitoba, and throughout Canada. He grew up in the small town of Dinorwic, Ontario East of Dryden, and now calls Winnipeg, Manitoba home. Gerry has three guitar instrumental CD’s to his credit entitled “Gerry’s Blues”, “Tribute to the Ventures” and “Moods” and also the release entitled “Old Friend” previously nominated. Gerry plays all the instruments on his releases including his new album “Wabigoon Fiddling”, Wabigoon means “Muddy River” in Ojibway. Gerry’s an avid supporter of Aboriginal Music, and encourages all young musicians to keep playing.
