Biography
Robyn Shlachetka is a medevac captain from Wabowden, Manitoba, and registered with Pimichikimak First Nation (Cross Lake Band). She has been flying since the age of 4, and has been a licensed pilot since the age of 18. Robyn has over 19 years of aviation experience and was the captain of the first female Indigenous flight crew in Manitoba. She is currently a medevac captain with Vanguard Air Care, providing medical care to Northern Manitoba. Robyn is the proud mother of 3 daughters, and additionally, is happy to have re-connected roots within her culture by beading and sewing fur.
