Unique Presentations for Delegates

The Vision Quest Conference & Trade Show happens May 14 to 16 in Winnipeg. Each year we strive to feature unique presentations for our delegates, and have two that we’d like to share:

Movie Night: Floating Giants – The Barry Prentice Story

Award-winning documentary Floating Giants: The Barry Prentice Story is about university professor and renowned Canadian transportation expert Dr. Barry Prentice, and his ongoing pursuit of airships as a solution to the worsening transportation crisis in Canada’s north brought on by climate change. Who would believe that Depression-era airships could be the answer to this crisis? Join Vision Quest on the evening of May 14 to watch this award-winning documentary film, and Q & A with Barry Prentice about the subject. Popcorn provided!

Lunch with a Champion

James Lavallee RBC Olympian World Junior Champion, will join us at Vision Quest on May 15, sharing his story about following his path. James has been kayaking for 10 years and continues to represent Canada Internationally. He has competed in two Junior World Championships, captured medals at the National level, and medals for Manitoba in two Canada Summer Games. James received the 2017 Tom Longboat Award for Male Aboriginal Athlete of the Year, and the 2019 Indspire Award for Métis Youth.
