Honourary Chair Announced

Each year, Vision Quest chooses a distinguished member from the Indigenous community to be recognized as Honourary Chair. Vision Quest is pleased to announce that E.J. Fontaine is the Honourary Chair for 2015.

E.J. Fontaine - Honourary ChairE.J. Fontaine is President/CEO and founding partner of Anishinabek Consultants Inc., Indigenous jobs referral website Amik.ca, and Anish Corporation, which provides emotional support services to residential schools survivors.

E.J. is from Sagkeeng First Nation and a graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Manitoba. He received the Excellence in Indigenous Business Leadership Award in 2011 from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, and the 2012 Certificate of Merit from the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences in recognition of his contribution to Manitoba’s agricultural community.

In addition to being named Honourary Chair, E.J. is also one of the judges of this year’s Dragon’s Quest business plan competition – the winner of which will be announced at the Gala Banquet on closing night.
