Is Your Business Ready For Disruptions?
Natural disasters, emergencies and economic disruptions are becoming more common. This module will help both community members and Community Futures board members to:
- Understand the various types of events that can result in business disruption;
- Plan for their organization to be prepared in case of a major disruptive event;
- Understand how to support and assist businesses in the region;
- Identify the role their Community Futures organization can play in case of a major disruptive event;
- Engage stakeholders and participate in or lead key community organizations to develop a proactive plan in case of disruptive events; and
- Develop potential policies that could be implemented immediately and throughout disaster recovery.
