Biography

A member of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, Christian Sinclair was born and raised in Umperville near The Pas. He is a highly sought-after negotiator and project manager for Indigenous communities and mainstream corporations. Christian’s long and ongoing career of successes includes seven years of honourable service in Canada’s armed forces, co-founding the Manitoba Indigenous Summer Games, managing 2002 North American Indigenous Games (the most successful ever hosted), a fruitful tenure as Onekanew (Leader) Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and a thriving consulting business in Christian Sinclair Consulting Services, where he works with First Nations, provincial and federal leaders as an advisor and negotiator.
