Biography
Indian City is an award-winning pop/folk/rock collective from Winnipeg, founded in 2012 by the late Vince Fontaine. Their fusion of lyrics, music, and personality express the modern Indigenous conscience. Indian City has been recognized nationally and internationally, winning several awards. Their fourth album, Code Red, featuring collaborations with Canadian music legends, was nominated for the 2023 Juno Awards. Signed to Warner Music Canada in 2022, Code Red was re-released to coincide with National Truth & Reconciliation Day, including the pre-released singles Star People, Wannabe, and The Path.
