Larry MacKinnon

Larry is a member of Skownan First Nation, a 2nd degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, a retired RCMP officer, and the owner of Buffalo Defence Solutions, an Indigenous-owned self-defence and workplace safety training company. With decades of frontline and instructional experience, he delivers practical, experience-based training focused on awareness, prevention, and confident decision-making. Larry works with organizations, professionals, and communities to build safer environments.
