Tannis Smoke & Rayel Smoke

Niña Waṡte Events is a Dakota and Ojibway sister-run event company founded by Rayel and Tannis Smoke. They specialize in community events, GIANT board game rentals, and interactive experiences. Niña Waṡte proudly supports gatherings across Turtle Island with their GIANT games. Each year, they host an annual community event focused on connection, fun, and giving back. Beyond entertainment, the Smoke sisters share their entrepreneurial journey, teaching what they’ve learned along the way, including marketing 101, sales basics, and accounting fundamentals. Now in phase two of their growth, Niña Waṡte Events has big goals, including developing an original educational board game to support Indigenous language learning.
