Craig Blacksmith

Dakota Plains Wahpeton Oyate Craig Blacksmith is a father of two daughters with four grandchildren. In 2014, his two granddaughters were born less than two weeks apart and forever changed his outlook on life. Craig grew up in Sioux Valley and now works and resides in Dakota Plains. He was a board member of the Dakota Ojibway Community Futures Development Corporation for 10 years.  He shares the vision that sees a future where youth are leading a society with no segregation. His goal is to see Native people treated as equals in everyday life and in business.
